Premier Paper & Packaging is an independently-owned custom stocking distributor of fine papers, storage solutions, packaging materials and industrial cleaning products.

In 1994, founders Ed (pictured right) and Doug (pictured left) Stansberry had grown weary of the rigid corporate environment.  They envisioned a more flexible, customer-focused business – one that could deliver custom solutions at competitive prices, with unparalleled personal service and unwavering ethics.

As a family-owned business, their vision continues today as industry leaders who truly partner with clients to achieve lasting success.

From our humble beginnings we’ve grown into our state-of-the-art distribution facility in Columbia, Missouri.  Our location is ideally suited to serve not only carbonless and paper product users in Columbia, MO and the Midwest, but beyond.  We’re proud of our growth and its reflection of our commitment to excellence in all our endeavors.

After more than 15 years combined spent selling paper for multi-billion dollar corporations, Ed and Doug Stansberry grew weary of the impersonal way these companies did business and agreed to start their own paper company. The result was Premier Paper and Packaging, launched in 1994, who today provides a wide scope of paper, packaging and storing solutions.

Ed and Doug grew up in Moberly, Missouri; Ed graduating from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas in 1983, and Doug graduating from the University of Missouri in 1980.

With more than 40 combined years of experience in the paper business, Ed and Doug have built Premier Paper & Packaging into a company that cares deeply about the people it employs, considering them far more important than the profit margin.
